Insider’s Insight

FoV Coastal adds stage and song to your east coast road trip. Local shack culture and ocean views meet a contemporary roots-driven vocal program, including speakeasy’s and secret garden parties. Rumour has it, 2018 is delivering the largest program ever.

Rejoice in our island of song, where singers, choristers and vocal workshops, run by critically acclaimed artists, create a celebration of sound like no other. Opening on the stunning east coast, and closing in Hobart, the event features massed choirs, cabaret and contemporary performances, family and pop up events.

A highlight of the event is the City of Hobart Big Sing Bonfire. This remarkable event brings together the community and unites them in one voice – creating light and warmth, banishing the dark on a magical winter’s evening.
