Lion, a new film based on the bestselling book A Long Way Home by Saroo Brierley is showing in Australian cinemas January 19, 2017.
It’s a gripping tale of a man who found his home in Tasmania. As a child Saroo is lost on a train, which takes him thousands of kilometres away from his family across India. Learning to live on the streets alone, Saroo eventually is adopted by an Australian couple, and moves to Tasmania. Fast-forward twenty-five years Saroo still yearns for his lost family. Armed with just a handful of memories, unwavering determination, and Google Earth, he sets out to find them.
This is where your Tassie journey kicks off.
We’re celebrating the release of Lion by putting an ‘Ultimate Tassie Road Trip’ up for grabs. Saroo could give you some great tips on what would make up a great Tassie adventure, but we want you to tell us what your ideal Tassie road trip might look like.
