The Museum of Old and New Art (Mona) Festival of Music and Art (Foma) will transform Tassie’s northern city into a psychedelic playground for festival goers. Going off from 13 – 20 January, Mona Foma is all things fun and frivolity. It’s pink and bright, full of pop and bubbles including music, art, dance and events like Morning Meditation and the much-loved Faux Mo party. Entertainment includes Polish punk Hańba!, Swedish pop icon Neneh Cherry, Ethiopian Jazz specialists Mulatu Astatake, Welsh electronic group Underworld, USA’s Oneohtrix Point Never and his ensemble: Myriad, Australia’s Courtney Barnett and much much more.

There is much to be enjoyed in Launceston and the north. A region famous for its delicious produce, world class wine and sparkling and, now one of the coolest art and music festivals in the country.

*new airline bit is not quite true; but the competition bit certainly is. Terms and conditions apply.
