For the past twenty years Kate has played Mum to Flinders’ orphaned wombats, devoting countless hours to raising them from vulnerable bundles through to their eventual release on her 40-hectare piece of paradise and back into the island’s wilds. Kate’s down-to-earth passion for Flinders and its furry residents will warm your heart and nourish your soul.
